Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Keenan Blake started the match with the kick off. When Darron Messer fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lake Junaluska FC's protests and gave Darron Messer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Lake Junaluska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darron Messer to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Carro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 6th minute of play. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Jonathon Frost came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lake Junaluska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathon Frost couldn't finish the play. Hilario Carro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play. Darron Messer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lake Junaluska FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathon Frost might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathon Frost ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Blake in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Panama's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Pollard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joel Pollard took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 67thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Lake Junaluska FC's Joel Pollard. But to his dismay, Joel Pollard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 73 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Carro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Blake in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Pollard in the 84th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Joel Pollard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
