Bebbi United's Eberardo De Mena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play. Mackenzie Fahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Bebbi United's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Eberardo De Mena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eberardo De Mena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Indrasvat Parmar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eberardo De Mena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bebbi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mackenzie Fahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eberardo De Mena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. 35 minutes into the match, Bebbi United's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Eberardo De Mena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eberardo De Mena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eberardo De Mena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Bebbi United defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eberardo De Mena. The Bebbi United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eberardo De Mena should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Haegg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Mackenzie Fahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Ivar Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebbi United were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Indrasvat Parmar took the corner. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Haegg in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bebbi United's Charlie Jansson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Evgeniy Kabalevskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mackenzie Fahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bebbi United defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eberardo De Mena. The Bebbi United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eberardo De Mena should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eberardo De Mena. Eberardo De Mena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 86 minutes into the match, Bebbi United's goalkeeper Eberardo De Mena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 89 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eberardo De Mena, 1-4. Eberardo De Mena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 92nd minute. 92 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eberardo De Mena. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 95th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Haegg struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bebbi United. In the 100th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Bebbi United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
