If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Calisto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Alfonso de la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Ovando having to interfere. Dalmacio Beltza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but Dalmacio Beltza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Severiano Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Ismael Tejedor in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ₵₳ ⱤłѶɆⱤ ₱Ⱡ₳₮Ɇ ★09-12-18★'s Mauricio Guillelme. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mario Fernandino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Ostadar in the 57th minute of play. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Esiquio in the 60th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ₵₳ ⱤłѶɆⱤ ₱Ⱡ₳₮Ɇ ★09-12-18★'s zone, Alfredo Ferrant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
