Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Botero in the 3rd minute of play. Rodrigo Botero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 9th minute of play forced Zonguldak Kömürspor's goalkeeper Gerwin Broerse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 15th minute, Rodrigo Botero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Seyit Ersayın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Zonguldak Kömürspor booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Rodrigo Botero scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerwin Broerse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, 傅升剑 took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Rodrigo Botero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, 傅升剑 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Rodrigo Botero took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Botero made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ahmet Korkut Yalman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mustafa Numan Vacit came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Zonguldak Kömürspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Numan Vacit couldn't finish the play. After having played for 55 minutes, Ahmet Korkut Yalman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zonguldak Kömürspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Korkut Yalman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Zonguldak Kömürspor's Ahmet Korkut Yalman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Zonguldak Kömürspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tugay Atlıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Numan Vacit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Botero, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zonguldak Kömürspor's 傅升剑 got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Rodrigo Botero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerwin Broerse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
