An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Ålberg in the 11th minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonides Ospetsu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Flodde CFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonides Ospetsu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flodde CFC! The referee gave Gettrup SIK a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Loui Dyndgaard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flodde CFC's Börje Holmgren. 0-2. In the 21st match minute, Flodde CFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Méthot to maneuver through the defense. Börje Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Gall, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keld Popp in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Holmgren saved Flodde CFC from getting behind. Zenon Gall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthon Nordin's late challenge caught a Gettrup SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthon Nordin helped the player get up and apologised. Anthon Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Loui Dyndgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keld Popp, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Zenon Gall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Börje Holmgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torjus Solvoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevie Méthot in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gettrup SIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stefan Nyström was slow to take the kick. During this time Flodde CFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Flodde CFC's Stefan Nyström to fire away a dangerous shot which Torjus Solvoll despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Loui Dyndgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Galls short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Börje Holmgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Flodde CFC's zone, Zenon Gall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Holmgren came out of the goal and Zenon Gall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Zenon Gall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flodde CFC's Börje Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Gall in the 68th minute of play. Zenon Gall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Holmgren having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Börje Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Gall. After 84 played minutes, Gettrup SIK's Loui Dyndgaard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Börje Holmgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gettrup SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
