Sixten Dahlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zenon Gall in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Frogner's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Loui Dyndgaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Gettrup SIK's players had a chance to rest. Loui Dyndgaard made a great header on Gettrup SIK's corner, it was just that Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Zenon Gall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sixten Dahlgren came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Gettrup SIK's Zenon Gall. But to his dismay, Zenon Gall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dag Nordlander hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren got control of the ball when Zenon Gall tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Allan Kilstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Carlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Solvoll having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Blom in the 29th minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östen Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Frogner's Ivar Carlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torjus Solvoll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sixten Dahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loui Dyndgaard in the 55th minute of play. Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Gall in the 57th minute of play. Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Frogner's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loui Dyndgaard took the corner. Gettrup SIK's Loui Dyndgaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sixten Dahlgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ivar Carlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Solvoll having to interfere. Sixten Dahlgren came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Gettrup SIK's Zenon Gall. But to his dismay, Zenon Gall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Lange during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute of the match Gettrup SIK got a corner. Frogner's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Loui Dyndgaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Frogner's goalkeeper Sixten Dahlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lange in the 76th minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Allan Kilstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Frogner's Yannik Peternell got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Gettrup SIK booed when Frogner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannik Peternell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Gall in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner. Loui Dyndgaard went to the cornerflag to take it. Loui Dyndgaard made a great header on Gettrup SIK's corner, it was just that Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Sixten Dahlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keld Popp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gettrup SIK's Sten Vonk was substituted for Zenon Gall. After 94 played minutes Gettrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Krestoffer Brandmose. When Egil Blom came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Frogner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Blom couldn't finish the play. Frogner were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
