The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximiliano Mundo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Albinus Alking. But to his dismay, Albinus Alking quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Mundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Axel Ree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14thth minute of the game Axel Ree who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lopidato FC's Maximiliano Mundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Axel Ree ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Mundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 19th minute of play forced Lopidato FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Mundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Axel Ree left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monks in Robes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Dominic Cornelis in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristen Gulskov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enis Behiç Ünsaç hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Axel Ree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Mundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 40th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Cornelis was the one to do the kick off. Boruc Majorski hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Axel Ree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Ree went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Axel Ree cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Maximiliano Mundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Ree in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Mundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Ree went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Axel Ree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Ree, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Axel Ree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute Axel Ree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Mundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monks in Robes were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Lopidato FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Havier took the corner. 87 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Albinus Alking sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Mundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristen Gulskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Kindts in the 89th minute of play. Mathieu Slabbaert hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Monks in Robes's Maximiliano Mundo threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axel Ree, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monks in Robes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
