With his leg Gusmão Dias managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when LOBOS FC's Agustín Bermúdez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th minute of the match LOBOS FC got a corner. Buksvinens IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Ulloa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Buksvinens IF's goalie and right to Daniel Schneider. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Buksvinens IF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gusmão Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Bermúdez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Agustín Bermúdez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gusmão Dias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buksvinens IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodolfo Ulloa was slow to take the kick. During this time LOBOS FC's players had a chance to rest. LOBOS FC's Thierry Merk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gusmão Dias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 36 minutes Buksvinens IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodolfo Ulloa who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Matheus Mineiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gusmão Dias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the match, Agustín Bermúdez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gusmão Dias. Buksvinens IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Bermúdez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 42nd minute, Leo Beckman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Daniel Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gusmão Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
