Futbol Club RRFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vince Bannatyne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes in the game, Leonel Sanches fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vince Bannatyne having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Sanches got free with Vince Bannatyne in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dorival do Vale hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Coe in the 25th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Frazer Llewellyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Futbol Club RRFV were furious when João Francisco Baptista was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 28 minutes into the game, one of Futbol Club RRFV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Diamantino Senna had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfie Heath's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Diamantino Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franz Clifton went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Diamantino Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Ian Coe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes, Futbol Club RRFV's Tomé Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vince Bannatyne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Futbol Club RRFV reached it. After 92 minutes, Froilan Ignado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crystal Phallus and the Futbol Club RRFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Crystal Phallus getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Froilan Ignado hit a great ball. Reg Hampton hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Crystal Phallus's Vince Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Martins in the 94th minute of play. Crystal Phallus's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
