Bøje Dyssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Heidal came free, but Tony Joyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Kenny Ebsøe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Ebsøe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Joyce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Javier Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bøje Dyssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Patoruzu's Tony Joyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinar Lennild in the 15th minute of play. Tony Joyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Ebsøe in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Sune Heidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Patoruzu's Tony Joyce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Javier Rodriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Patoruzu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monks in Robes the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Ebsøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tony Joyce made a huge save. Sune Heidal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tony Joyce came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Kenny Ebsøe. But to his dismay, Kenny Ebsøe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eliseo Cavazos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Sune Heidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Joyce. Atletico Patoruzu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sune Heidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kenny Ebsøes short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Tony Joyce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Pedro came free, but Bøje Dyssen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sune Heidal to make the kick off. Tony Joyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Heidal in the 64th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Sune Heidal notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atletico Patoruzu's Tony Joyce. Tony Joyce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 played minutes, Monks in Robes's Yin Chen Ling shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tony Joyce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monks in Robes reached it. Sune Heidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Joyce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sune Heidal ran back to his position shaking his head. Tony Joyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Ebsøe in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Kenny Ebsøe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Joyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinar Lennild recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Joyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Ebsøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Joyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Atletico Patoruzu's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Heidal came free, but Tony Joyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
