Felix Plummer charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Plummer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ booed when Deportivo Rodriguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Plummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Esteve Vistruario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Joyce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vágner Loyola came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Rodriguez's Felix Plummer. But to his dismay, Felix Plummer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Josef Carlisle made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Rodolfo Muc. Tony Joyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Cristofor in the 14th minute of play. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Silvestre Cuartio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Josef Carlisle in the 15 minute of the game. Vágner Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Korhan Türkol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Joyce. Deportivo Rodriguez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korhan Türkol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Korhan Türkol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Joyce was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Joyce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Silvestre Cuartio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Josef Carlisle in the 43 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Tyrell Cochran in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Eliseo Furman. When Eliseo Furman came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Furman couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Lia made a kick off. Tony Joyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korhan Türkol, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Deportivo Rodriguez getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedro Pedro hit a great ball. Tony Joyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Türkol in the 56th minute of play. If Korhan Türkol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Vágner Loyola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 72 minutes, Korhan Türkol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Korhan Türkol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Javier Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Korhan Türkol sped through Deportivo Rodriguez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Joyce. After 81 played minutes ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Cinalli. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Rodriguez's goalkeeper Tony Joyce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Josef Carlisle in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Ermanno Cinalli. Tony Joyce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korhan Türkol went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Deportivo Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Korhan Türkol came free, but Tony Joyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Korhan Türkol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korhan Türkol in the 96th minute of play forced Deportivo Rodriguez's goalkeeper Tony Joyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
