Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sune Heidal in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince Bannatyne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Coe got free with Bøje Dyssen in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Heidal in the 11th minute of play forced Crystal Phallus's goalkeeper Vince Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Crystal Phallus defense, Kenny Ebsøe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Bannatyne. The Crystal Phallus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Bannatyne should have stopped the shot. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill Cook, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute of the game Hu Yu Lang made a throw-in which Bartosz Salamon played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Coe got free with Bøje Dyssen in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sune Heidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crystal Phallus's Vince Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Heidal in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Monks in Robes's Sune Heidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vince Bannatyne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vince Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Heidal in the 35th minute of play. Sune Heidal scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vince Bannatyne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vince Bannatyne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Heidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Crystal Phallus defense, Sune Heidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Bannatyne. The Crystal Phallus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Bannatyne should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Coe was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sune Heidal in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vince Bannatyne saved Crystal Phallus from getting behind. When Kenny Ebsøe came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Monks in Robes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Ebsøe couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Ian Coe made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sune Heidal kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Kenny Ebsøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vince Bannatyne made a huge save. With 70 minutes on the clock, Sergei Kanner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Crystal Phallus booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergei Kanner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfie Heath, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Reinar Lennild recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vince Bannatyne. Reinar Lennild showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Monks in Robes's Dennis Kølbel was substituted for Reinar Lennild. In the 79th minute, Kenny Ebsøe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Crystal Phallus got a freekick which was hit by Alfie Heath. Kenny Ebsøe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Bannatyne having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Crystal Phallus's zone, Dennis Kølbel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vince Bannatyne came out of the goal and Dennis Kølbel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monks in Robes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
