Pogoń Stawiszyn's Damian Jekot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Vester in the 2nd minute of play. AIF were awarded a corner in the 3th minute after Pogoń Stawiszyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Engström took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Sune Bålström heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of AIF booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Kochanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Vester in the 8th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Damian Jekot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Gwidon Mietus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Szostak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Damian Jekot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. Ksawery Pilsudski kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, 汪希瑜 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Jekot. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Wojciech Szel got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristoffer Vester was the one to do the kick off. In the 74th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Engström to maneuver through the defense. Marek Szostak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Marut. After 86 minutes, 汪希瑜 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIF and the Pogoń Stawiszyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. 汪希瑜 hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ksawery Pilsudski struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Marek Szostak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń Stawiszyn. AIF were furious when Carl Kilman was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AIF! The goalkeeper, Marek Szostak, was totally fooled by Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zula Cytrynski, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pogoń Stawiszyn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
