Renaldo Segarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meriç Özsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When AKÇEŞMESPOR's Meriç Özsen in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Renaldo Segarra guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Meriç Özsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renaldo Segarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Laureano Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Holmgren got free with Cláudio Taffarel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 minutes AKÇEŞMESPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Edvin Hedberg who took care of the corner kick. Sven-Edvin Hedberg made a great header on Jörlanda's corner, it was just that AKÇEŞMESPOR's Cláudio Taffarel managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Jörlanda's Jakob Felin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Berto Monta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renaldo Segarra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Baran Aydın to make the kick off. Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Jörlanda's Matthias Holmgren. But to his dismay, Matthias Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Baran Aydın got free with Renaldo Segarra in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Özsen in the 71st minute of play. Jörlanda's Östen Hedin got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mehmet Hakkı Suhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Hakkı Suhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renaldo Segarra was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ali Baran Aydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Jörlanda getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Matthias Holmgren hit a great ball.
