The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Fransson to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Gualterio Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Gualterio Aguirre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olov Linquist, 1-0. Gualterio Aguirre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Olov Linquist made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, AIF's goalkeeper Olov Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Aguirre. After 14 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Fransson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Kullgren in the 17th minute of play forced Atletico Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Fransson to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Jerry Kullgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aldo Hawk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Kullgren in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Jim Frykberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Hawk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Aguirres short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Olov Linquist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Atletico Patoruzu fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Atletico Patoruzu's Gualterio Aguirre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 42 minutes, Noah Hobson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Patoruzu and the AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Noah Hobson. In the 44th minute, Gualterio Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Harman made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Atletico Patoruzu's Rene Harman made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Linquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualterio Aguirre might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Linquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Aguirre ran back to his position shaking his head. Olov Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Rene Harman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Linquist. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Linquist should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Ezra Shepard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olov Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. AIF's Olov Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Harman in the 79th minute of play. Rene Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 81 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Jim Frykberg. The Atletico Patoruzu fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Atletico Patoruzu's Rene Harman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. AIF's Olov Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Harman in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Kullgren to maneuver through the defense. AIF's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Atletico Patoruzu had won, even though AIF had held more of the ball.
