In the 14th minute, Matias Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göksel Canfeda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Gelmiro's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match ALIDIM FOR EVER got a corner. istanbulls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanko Selimović ran over to the corner to take the kick. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gelmiro in the 21st minute of play. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Gelmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ALIDIM FOR EVER were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after istanbulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanko Selimović took the corner. After taking down the ball on ALIDIM FOR EVER's corner Matias Gelmiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Göksel Canfeda quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of ALIDIM FOR EVER booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdi Coşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Matias Gelmiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göksel Canfeda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Matias Gelmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göksel Canfeda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After some careless play in the istanbulls defense, Gaueko Nanclares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göksel Canfeda. The istanbulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göksel Canfeda should have stopped the shot.
