Clonmels Devils's goalkeeper Andrea Sabatini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Sabatini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedrich Nietzsche in the 11th minute of the match. F. C. Clonmels Devils's Andrea Sabatini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Özsen in the 12th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Bartlomiej Olejarz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Meriç Özsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Sabatini having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AKÇEŞMESPOR's Berto Monta got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 27th play minutes Meriç Özsen shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Andrea Sabatini and just under the crossbar into goal. Berto Monta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AKÇEŞMESPOR's Cláudio Taffarel got control of the ball when Janusz Wielowiejski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by AKÇEŞMESPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Dubiel was slow to take the kick. During this time F. C. Clonmels Devils's players had a chance to rest. Meriç Özsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Turgut Şimşektürk charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turgut Şimşektürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, F. C. Clonmels Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turgut Şimşektürk to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Berto Monta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Sabatini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Deivid De Souzas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Andrea Sabatini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Mehmet Hakkı Suhan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the AKÇEŞMESPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Hakkı Suhan couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Damian Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. AKÇEŞMESPOR were furious when Charlie Frisk was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of AKÇEŞMESPOR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F. C. Clonmels Devils:s goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
