Klas Njurenius charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klas Njurenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Klas Njurenius kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Franz Clifton lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Olov Linquist. In the 13th minute, Karl-Ove Ahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donny Rowell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Kullgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Clifton in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Linquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Kullgren in the 29th minute of play forced Crystal Phallus's goalkeeper Donny Rowell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Franz Clifton came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Crystal Phallus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franz Clifton couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Crystal Phallus's zone, Kenneth Frisk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donny Rowell came out of the goal and Kenneth Frisk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Franz Clifton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 39th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Njurenius to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Borys Zalewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donny Rowell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Frisk in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Crystal Phallus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frazer Llewellyn to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenneth Frisk to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Crystal Phallus booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Salqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Noel Bush sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Linquist skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Klas Njurenius hit a great ball. Olov Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Byshovets, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Bush came free, but Olov Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Crystal Phallus's Donny Rowell got control of the ball when Jerry Kullgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenneth Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Klas Njurenius came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klas Njurenius couldn't finish the play. Jerry Kullgrens short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Donny Rowell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. AIF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerry Kullgren in the 73rd minute. The corner led AIF's Kenneth Frisk to fire away a dangerous shot which Donny Rowell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Olov Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Byshovets in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Kenneth Frisk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Crystal Phallus's Dominik Flis got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Klas Njurenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AIF's Olov Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Clifton in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Klas Njurenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klas Njurenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donny Rowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Frisk in the 85th minute of the match. Olov Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Byshovets, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Ahlbom during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 94 minutes, Franz Clifton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crystal Phallus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franz Clifton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the AIF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Crystal Phallus.
