Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Aguirre in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaldo Segarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rene Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renaldo Segarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Harman in the 13th minute of the match. Marcelo-Luis Butcher took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renaldo Segarra. Renaldo Segarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Deportivo Rodriguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willie Staton to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo Rodriguez booed when Jörlanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renaldo Segarra was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Amadeo Roma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pinkhas in the 36th minute of play. Jesper Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Roma having to interfere. Renaldo Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Roma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Holmgren in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Deportivo Rodriguez's Noah Hobson was substituted for Willie Staton. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualterio Aguirre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Jörlanda defense, Gualterio Aguirre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renaldo Segarra. The Jörlanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renaldo Segarra should have stopped the shot. Gualterio Aguirre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renaldo Segarra having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Jörlanda's goalkeeper Renaldo Segarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Aguirre. Wiley Boyle charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiley Boyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Deportivo Rodriguez got a freekick which was hit by Wiley Boyle. In the 63rd minute, Östen Hedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Jörlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Aguirre came free, but Renaldo Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Rodriguez's Rúben Verdun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Renaldo Segarra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Deportivo Rodriguez's Gualterio Aguirre managed to work through Jörlanda's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gualterio Aguirre dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 74 minutes, Noah Hobson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Rodriguez and the Jörlanda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Rodriguez's Noah Hobson got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Gualterio Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaldo Segarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Renaldo Segarra throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gualterio Aguirre in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Paulo Pinkhas struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Amadeo Roma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jörlanda. Rene Harman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Renaldo Segarra made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Jörlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Aguirre came free, but Renaldo Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Jörlanda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gualterio Aguirre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Jörlanda's Sven-Edvin Hedberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Gualterio Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Rodriguez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Aguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Rodriguez's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
