The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janusz Wielowiejski got free with Renaldo Segarra in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renaldo Segarra was a little too slow when Janusz Wielowiejski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, F. C. Clonmels Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Holmgren came free, but Andrea Sabatini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes, Jörlanda's Sven-Edvin Hedberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrea Sabatini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jörlanda reached it. Renaldo Segarra was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Janusz Wielowiejski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Janusz Wielowiejski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Janusz Wielowiejski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Jörlanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Hedin to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Sabatini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pinkhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When F. C. Clonmels Devils's Bartlomiej Olejarz in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jörlanda's goalie prevented a goal. The F. C. Clonmels Devils fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when F. C. Clonmels Devils's Bartlomiej Olejarz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Janusz Wielowiejski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra got control of the ball when Janusz Wielowiejski tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Matthias Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jörlanda's goalkeeper Renaldo Segarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renaldo Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Olejarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Holmgren got free with Andrea Sabatini in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Janusz Wielowiejski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F. C. Clonmels Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Janusz Wielowiejski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Segarra having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Jörlanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Hedin to maneuver through the defense. Janusz Wielowiejski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Wielowiejski in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Jörlanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heine Weitemeyer to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, F. C. Clonmels Devils's Bartlomiej Olejarz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renaldo Segarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jörlanda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F. C. Clonmels Devils.
