Gunnar Klemensson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Garner in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Collin in the 11th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Shane Brindley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Stefan Collin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shane Brindley was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Crabtree in the 16th minute of play. The long shot by Christer Strömbom in the 19th minute really tested Shane Brindley's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Juventus Telford's Shane Brindley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Telford from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Hurtig. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Crabtree in the 39th minute of play. Sven-Olof Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tris Hurst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Aaron Deacon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Telford and the AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AIF booed when Juventus Telford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Deacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shane Brindley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Collin in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Collin to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Collin came free, but Shane Brindley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Morning kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Shane Brindley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Skoog in the 53rd minute of play. Barney Garner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sven-Olof Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Barney Garner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Juventus Telford got a corner. AIF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teddy Winter ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juventus Telford's Teddy Winter was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Garner in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teddy Winter was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventus Telford's players had a chance to rest. Shane Brindley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Klemensson in the 81st minute of the match. Daniel Crabtree could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus Telford's Daniel Crabtree slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-Olof Ahlroht. That made the score 0-1 after 86 minutes of play. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Crabtree in the 89th minute. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
