Barney Garner started the match with the kick off. Shane Brindley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricky Waegemans went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Purple Talents were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Juventus Telford's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yvan Loos took the corner. Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Shane Brindley in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Bourguignon to maneuver through the defense. Purple Talents's Steve Van der Veeken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tris Hurst in the 15th minute of play. Shane Brindley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Feng Guo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Qiu Feng Guo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shane Brindley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 28th match minute, Juventus Telford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barney Garner to maneuver through the defense. Philippe-Arnaud Bourguignon hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventus Telford's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Feng Guo came free, but Shane Brindley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Barney Garner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tris Hurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Van der Veeken having to interfere. Shane Brindley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Feng Guo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 42 minutes into the game, Tony Morning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Telford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Talents the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Waegemans made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barney Garner in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve Van der Veeken saved Purple Talents from getting behind. Purple Talents's Steve Van der Veeken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Boyd in the 55th minute of play. Tris Hurst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Steve Van der Veeken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Brindley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Feng Guo in the 61st minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Waegemans. Daniel Crabtree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. With his leg Shane Brindley managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Purple Talents's Qiu Feng Guo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute, Daniel Crabtree left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus Telford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Tris Hurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Van der Veeken having to interfere. Shane Brindley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Feng Guo in the 84th minute of the match. Shane Brindley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Qiu Feng Guo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 87 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Shane Brindley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiu Feng Guo. Jake Coton got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Perry Boyd. The Juventus Telford supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Purple Talents's performance. The match ended with a win for Purple Talents.
