Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Saba in the 8th minute of play. Victoriano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Durukan in the 11th minute of play. Arthur Saba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes, Per Rolandsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jo Blanchaert in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tamer Siraceddin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes, Jo Blanchaert made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tamer Siraceddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Saba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Tatangelos were furious when Arif Burak Kahveci was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 27 minutes into the game, one of Los Tatangelos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Average Joes. Arthur Saba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tamer Siraceddin. 0-3. Hüseyin Can Timurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tamer Siraceddin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Blanchaert in the 36th minute of play. Jo Blanchaert scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamer Siraceddin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Average Joes booed when Los Tatangelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Can Timurkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tamer Siraceddin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Saba went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When Cuma Han came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Los Tatangelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cuma Han couldn't finish the play. Tamer Siraceddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Saba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47thth minute of the game Arthur Saba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hüseyin Can Timurkan made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Martin Morat got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Pål Askestät's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tamer Siraceddin was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Rolandsson in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tamer Siraceddin saved Los Tatangelos from getting behind. When Average Joes's Per Rolandsson in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Average Joes's Nils-Emil Gulliksson was substituted for Aaron Löfgren. Arthur Saba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Tamer Siraceddin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Can Timurkan in the 85th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cuma Han had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Hüseyin Can Timurkan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Los Tatangelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Can Timurkan couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Jeremias Silban made a precise shot to the right of Tamer Siraceddin. Los Tatangelos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.
