Anacleto Norino was slow to take the kick. During this time Reconquistense FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Coe in the 21st minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crystal Phallus were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Reconquistense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alistair Ferdinand took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alistair Ferdinand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco Pelagius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vince Bannatyne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lino Madeo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Albert Byshovets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vince Bannatyne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Crystal Phallus booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Paublo to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Ian Coe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Ian Coe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Francisco Pelagius made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Crystal Phallus got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Ferdinand. Keith Sheppard hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Keith Sheppard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vince Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Madeo in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Coe in the 76th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ugutz in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lino Madeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Bannatyne was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Jesus Paublo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Crystal Phallus's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Asur came free, but Vince Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lino Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Crystal Phallus defense, Lino Madeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Bannatyne. The Crystal Phallus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Bannatyne should have stopped the shot. Lino Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
