Vince Bannatyne came out of the goal and Aureliusz Grucza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ian Coe struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Miromir Skwira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crystal Phallus. The corner led FC Latające Siekiery's Zula Furlit to fire away a dangerous shot which Vince Bannatyne despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Latające Siekiery's zone, Keith Sheppard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Coe was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince Bannatyne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Coe got free with Miromir Skwira in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
