The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Junior Colley during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Junior Colley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Brindley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Rolandsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Juventus Telford got a freekick which was hit by Alastair Wishart. A collision led to Juventus Telford getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tris Hurst hit a great ball. Daniel Crabtree's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victoriano Abel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tony Morning kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Average Joes's Ganix Herrera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Juventus Telford's Shane Brindley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Saba in the 37th minute of play. Martin Morat hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Teddy Winter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Abel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Saba got free with Shane Brindley in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shane Brindley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Rolandsson in the 53rd minute of play. If Arthur Saba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victoriano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tris Hurst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yavuz Bülent Özger struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Shane Brindley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Average Joes. Jo Blanchaert took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shane Brindley. Shane Brindley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Yavuz Bülent Özger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Brindley having to interfere. Average Joes's Filipp Krupatkih was substituted for Martin Morat. Per Rolandsson struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Shane Brindley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Average Joes. After 70 played minutes Juventus Telford got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Crabtree. 71 minutes into the game, Per Rolandsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Average Joes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Telford the free kick. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Per Rolandsson hit a great ball. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Crabtree in the 73rd minute of play. Mattias Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Brindley having to interfere. Average Joes made a substitution. Jeremias Silban replaced Per Rolandsson. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Telford's zone, Yavuz Bülent Özger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shane Brindley came out of the goal and Yavuz Bülent Özger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Finnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Shane Brindley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Finnmans short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Shane Brindley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute of the match, Jeremias Silban tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Shane Brindley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Yavuz Bülent Özger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Juventus Telford's Daniel Crabtree got a free kick in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Average Joes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
