Raymond Johnston hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Klewinski. After 12 minutes of play, Rangers FC's Keith McNiter made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 20 played minutes, Rangers FC's Tyler McCraw shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangers FC reached it. 21 minutes into the game, Florian Solibieda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jadymy Durś's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers FC the free kick. Franciszek Jeziorkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. Fergus Fairbairn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izydor Rakiewicz in the 25th minute. Fergus Fairbairn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jadymy Durś players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rangers FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymond Johnston to make the kick off. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Komanski in the 57th minute of play. Izydor Rakiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Klewinski in the 61st minute of play. Izydor Rakiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fergus Fairbairn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's Logan McCubbin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Piszczor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match, Logan McCubbin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgar Piszczor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Raymond Johnston came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Piszczor could save by the left post. Raymond Johnstons short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Edgar Piszczor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Jadymy Durś was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Komanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Johnston in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgar Piszczor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
