Hüsrev Can dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dom Butler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haydar Özdinç in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haydar Özdinç in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dom Butler saved Crystal Phallus from getting behind. Crystal Phallus's Dom Butler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Cüneyt Zahir in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Crystal Phallus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Clifford to maneuver through the defense. Hüsrev Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Thomas in the 19th minute of the match. Dom Butler was a little too slow when Haydar Özdinç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Haydar Özdinçs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Dom Butler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute Albert King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsrev Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haydar Özdinç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Butler having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Crystal Phallus's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Haydar Özdinç fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to istanbulls getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Doğuş Özkaya hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haydar Özdinç was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Albert King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsrev Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Crystal Phallus players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for istanbulls.
