The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Gilespie got free with Dom Butler in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danny Gilespie in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dom Butler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stevie McGilvray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Dom Butler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Crystal Phallus defense, Danny Gilespie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dom Butler. The Crystal Phallus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dom Butler should have stopped the shot. Dom Butler made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tyler McCraw sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 32 in the game by Danny Gilespie from a close distance when the talented Dom Butler managed to make a qualified save. Crystal Phallus's players were relieved. After 33rd play minutes Danny Gilespie shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Dom Butler and just under the crossbar into goal. Bradley Carr hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Stuart Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Gilespie was the one to do the kick off. Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert King went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Dom Butler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Gilespie in the 60th minute of play. Albert King kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Ron McLeish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Butler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert King came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fergus Fairbairn could save by the left post. In the 69thth minute of the game Danny Gilespie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crystal Phallus's Dom Butler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dom Butler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ron McLeish's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Dom Butler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Gilespie in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Danny Gilespie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Dom Butler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the game, Angus Howison threw the ball into play from the sideline. Crystal Phallus's Chris Tyrell quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Albert King's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Fergus Fairbairn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albert King might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Fairbairn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert King ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Connor Alsop during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Crystal Phallus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Bartlett to maneuver through the defense. Ron McLeish struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dom Butler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangers FC. Rangers FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
