Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Hicham Al Azka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofil Gorzkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Costa in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Joldea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Pan Zhi Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Albino Gaskon. Capibaribe Stars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
