A collision led to PREZULO FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Shi Xi Zhen hit a great ball. PREZULO FC's attentive Albano Jaunzuria managed to snatch the ball when Pan Zhi Peng made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Daniel Sousa struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Isaac Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capibaribe Stars. Daniel Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Isaac Ferreira made a huge save. Isaac Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner. Wilton Fontes went to the cornerflag to take it. Jarl Rossebø was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 30 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Franz Beckenbauer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Sousa in the 31st minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Isaac Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Pan Zhi Peng in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PREZULO FC's Ferreirinha dos Santos. 41 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 53rd minute of play. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgut Soyuer in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Toscano saved Capibaribe Stars from getting behind. Hicham Al Azka kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. PREZULO FC's Elce Teleagă was substituted for Turgut Soyuer. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Saulão Chettle. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elce Teleagă in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elce Teleagă in the 85th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Elce Teleagă came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elce Teleagă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Toscano having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Elce Teleagă lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Thomás Toscano. PREZULO FC played a much better game than Capibaribe Stars and deserved their victory. The Capibaribe Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
