Miau Stars's Olavo Mota quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Albino Gaskon, made in the 5th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ronaldo Fenomeno sped through Capibaribe Stars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomás Toscano. After having played for 12 minutes, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Daniel Sousa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan. Abdulkadir Eraslan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkadir Eraslan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miau Stars's Kenneth Knutsson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Miau Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilton Fontes took the corner. Nike 武磊 hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomás Toscano. When Daniel Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Capibaribe Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Sousa couldn't finish the play. Capibaribe Stars's Henry Costa was substituted for Nike 武磊. In the 43rd minute, Robinho Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulkadir Eraslan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Albino Gaskon fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capibaribe Stars's protests and gave Albino Gaskon a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Abdulkadir Eraslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Abdulkadir Eraslan made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Fenomeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Thomás Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 84th minute of play. Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to work through Capibaribe Stars's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ronaldo Fenomeno dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Robinho Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Abdulkadir Eraslan made a huge save. Miau Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Capibaribe Stars for a fine match.
