Daniel Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konrad Mosiniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Kılıçalp Onatsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Konrad Mosiniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Capibaribe Stars's corner Jarl Rossebø fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Konrad Mosiniak quite easily take care of the ball. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özmen Gazzali in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Anatolia FC's Konrad Mosiniak got control of the ball when Daniel Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Anatolia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilton Fontes took the corner. The corner led Capibaribe Stars's Wilton Fontes to fire away a dangerous shot which Konrad Mosiniak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Konrad Mosiniak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gafur Cingöz made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Özmen Gazzali immediately put the ball in play. When Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anatolia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kılıçalp Onatsu in the 81st minute of the match. Daniel Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Konrad Mosiniak came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Anatolia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Konrad Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Anatolia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capibaribe Stars's performance. The match ended with a win for Capibaribe Stars.
