But to his dismay, Daniel Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ferdinand Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 28th minute of play. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Mel Speerschneider replaced Maximino Bidari. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Yang Sang Qian managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albino Gaskon in the 37 minute of the game. After 41 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Joldea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Teofil Gorzkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Joldea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Teofil Gorzkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Toscano was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Sousa notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Ferdinand Joldea. With a left leg Ferdinand Joldea saved TIMETER EC -DMZ- from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Joldea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Leandro Lira came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the TIMETER EC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Lira couldn't finish the play. Thomás Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Lira's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarl Rossebø. The Capibaribe Stars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
