Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Sousa started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Breguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Sousa scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eugênio de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breguete FC's protests and gave Eugênio de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio de Carvalho. In the 10th minute, Daniel Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Custódio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Nando Custódio got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jailson Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Nando Custódio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capibaribe Stars's Jarl Rossebø quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Daniel Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jailson Soares made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Daniel Sousa sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Daniel Sousa sped through Breguete FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jailson Soares. Daniel Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jailson Soares made a huge save. Jailson Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Sousa went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 28 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nike 武磊 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Sousa could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Jailson Soares however easily saved by the left post. When Daniel Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Capibaribe Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Sousa couldn't finish the play. Daniel Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jailson Soares having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugênio de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nike 武磊 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Jailson Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Custódio made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benê Fernandez however managed to control. After having played for 68 minutes, Daniel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capibaribe Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Breguete FC defense, Daniel Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jailson Soares. The Breguete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jailson Soares should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Sousa in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jailson Soares saved Breguete FC from getting behind. The throw-in from Nando Custódio in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Capibaribe Stars's Hicham Al Azka. 86 minutes into the match, Daniel Sousa notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Breguete FC's Jailson Soares. Jailson Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 95th minute of the match Nando Custódio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nando Custódio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 97 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Custódio. Capibaribe Stars's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
