In the 7th minute, Marcelo Steven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir do Valle came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Durazno scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Feng Yun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shi Feng Yun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enrique Garcia in the 19 minute of the game. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Steven in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Silvinho Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Wilson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Lions FC the free kick. A collision led to São Wilson getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Silvinho Moraes hit a great ball. Loco Durazno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shi Feng Yun having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Almir do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Golden Lions FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson was the one to do the kick off. If Marcelo Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 52 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Shi Feng Yun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Enrique Garcia in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun. Shi Feng Yun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. São Wilson's Reynaldo Arce was substituted for João Paulo Antunes. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Marcelo Steven. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burç Tokhan in the 81st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Shi Feng Yun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute Burç Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The São Wilson supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Lions FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Lions FC.
