The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Capibaribe Stars from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute of the match, Saulão Chettle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomás Toscano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thomás Toscano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. In the 34thth minute of the game Turgut Soyuer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Samuel Jobo got a free kick in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pan Zhi Peng during the 46th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Turgut Soyuer made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hicham Al Azka in the 56th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Hicham Al Azka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Turgut Soyuer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Toscano. Capibaribe Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Turgut Soyuer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jonathan Otto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Toscano having to interfere. PREZULO FC made a substitution. He Xiao replaced Jonathan Otto. He Xiao kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save PREZULO FC from getting a goal against them. Hicham Al Azka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Jarbas Quadros made a huge save. PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Costa in the 80th minute of play. Capibaribe Stars were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after PREZULO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilton Fontes took the corner. Wilton Fontes made a great header on Capibaribe Stars's corner, it was just that PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros managed to reach the ball for a save. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
