Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Freddy Padilla kicked off to start the match. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's Freddy Padilla. But to his dismay, Freddy Padilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jacobo Nores didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's Valentin Heredia shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Tito Bonilla got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valentin Heredia. With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's Valentin Heredia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 20 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. In the 23rd minute, SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's Valentin Heredia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Benito Jarquin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Rigoberto Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's Rigoberto Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Valentin Heredia kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paraguay's keeper Jacobo Nores was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Rigoberto Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Alonzo Vega kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Rigoberto Pinto made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. Valentin Heredia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacobo Nores firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Pinto in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's Rigoberto Pinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 6-0 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When Tito Bonilla came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tito Bonilla couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Paraguay booed when SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Vega didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rene Santamaria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paraguay reached it. Alonzo Vega kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Valentin Heredia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Heredia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 63rd minute really tested Rene Santamaria's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Jarquin in the 67th minute of play. The throw-in from Tito Bonilla in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. In the 72nd minute Rigoberto Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 76th minute. SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC made a substitution. Kenneth Loaiza replaced Benito Jarquin. The supporters of SPORTING SAN JOSÉ FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
