Polonia Basildon's Kurt Poynton quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Radu Covrig got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Živko Dabović. 20 minutes into the match, Polonia Basildon's goalkeeper Hayden Baker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Živko Dabović. Polonia Basildon's Hayden Baker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Polonia Basildon from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Melo in the 27th minute of play forced Polonia Basildon's goalkeeper Hayden Baker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Severo Laurentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavi Liib was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 40th minute Severo Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavi Liib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Valder Gausbo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Polonia Basildon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Petruzzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Živko Dabović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catalin Haldan's zone, M. Fachrul Gibran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavi Liib came out of the goal and M. Fachrul Gibran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Mugurel Onete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavi Liib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Laurentzi in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, M. Fachrul Gibran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olavi Liib saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Liviu Fințescu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hayden Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catalin Haldan. Polonia Basildon's Kurt Poynton managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Liviu Fințescu in the 75 minute of the game. In the 77thth minute of the game Valder Gausbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Basildon's Hayden Baker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Mugurel Onete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Severo Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olavi Liib was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Hayden Baker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valder Gausbo in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Laurentzi in the 88th minute of play forced Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper Olavi Liib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Morozan made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Živko Dabović however managed to control. The Polonia Basildon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
