The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valder Gausbo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Moise Latarețu made a huge save. Catalin Haldan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Živko Dabović in the 7th minute. Catalin Haldan's Živko Dabović was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Moise Latarețu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Brown de Adrogue from getting a goal against them. Justino Poncio's late challenge caught a Catalin Haldan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Poncio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Justino Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Brown de Adrogue getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gustavo Bonadona hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Catalin Haldan's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Peixoto came free, but Olavi Liib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frédson Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moise Latarețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Olavi Liib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moise Latarețu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Živko Dabović sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th match minute, Brown de Adrogue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Brown de Adrogue's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Frédson Melo scored to the left of an out of position Moise Latarețu, making the score, 1-0. Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Brown de Adrogue from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Didi Peixoto made a kick off. Moise Latarețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Valder Gausbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valder Gausbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Moise Latarețu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brown de Adrogue getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Orlando Raebert hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes, Catalin Haldan's Živko Dabović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moise Latarețu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catalin Haldan reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Melo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moise Latarețu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Živko Dabović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moise Latarețu. Brown de Adrogue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Živko Dabović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Frédson Melo's late challenge caught a Brown de Adrogue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frédson Melo helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Catalin Haldan got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Melo. After 89 minutes, Valder Gausbo made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moise Latarețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valder Gausbo in the 92nd minute of the match. Frédson Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Latarețu having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Brown de Adrogue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brown de Adrogue players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Catalin Haldan.
