Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Laurentzi in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Laurentzi in the 29th minute of play forced AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meriç Özsen to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match AKÇEŞMESPOR got a corner. Polonia Basildon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Berto Monta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AKÇEŞMESPOR's corner Ali Baran Aydın fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hayden Baker quite easily take care of the ball. Severo Laurentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Polonia Basildon's goalkeeper Hayden Baker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid De Souza. 62 minutes into the match, Polonia Basildon's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Baran Aydın came free, but Hayden Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AKÇEŞMESPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Berto Monta in the 63rd minute. AKÇEŞMESPOR's Berto Monta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hayden Baker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Polonia Basildon's Felix Oto got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Baran Aydın got free with Hayden Baker in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, AKÇEŞMESPOR's Vitaliy Grischenko got a free kick in the 88th minute. Polonia Basildon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Baran Aydın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. AKÇEŞMESPOR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
