This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gilbert Podolski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gilbert Podolski was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Gao Gang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gao Gang really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Witalis Chmielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Panikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Kazimierz Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Chmielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Dylla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Witalis Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec in the 31st minute of play. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Gang in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Lucentini in the 35th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 42nd minute of play. The wind increased when Ryszard Pilipiec made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Witalis Chmielecki managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Pogoń Stawiszyn's Kazimierz Dylla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Pilipiec. Güntekin Enginer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radomil Bielatowicz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MZKS Sharks Gdynia's zone, Kazimierz Dylla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Chmielecki came out of the goal and Kazimierz Dylla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ryszard Pilipiec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witalis Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslaw Trojanowski got free with Witalis Chmielecki in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Olchawa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niek Wander, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witalis Chmielecki saved MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting behind.
