Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid De Souza in the 5th minute of play. Gilbert Podolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meriç Özsen's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the match AKÇEŞMESPOR got a corner. The audience was convinced that Meriç Özsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Podolski was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Meriç Özsen made a kick off. With his leg Gilbert Podolski managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when AKÇEŞMESPOR's Meriç Özsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gilbert Podolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meriç Özsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lech Gmoch lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski managed, with a little bit of luck, save Deivid De Souza's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The excitement rose when AKÇEŞMESPOR's Deivid De Souza after 67 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-3. AKÇEŞMESPOR made a substitution. Mehmet Hakkı Suhan replaced Meriç Özsen. Mehmet Hakkı Suhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Mehmet Hakkı Suhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKÇEŞMESPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Stawiszyn the free kick. Mehmet Hakkı Suhan hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Jacek Kolbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Kaznocha hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mehmet Hakkı Suhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKÇEŞMESPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Hakkı Suhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Podolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Friedrich Nietzsche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Hakkı Suhan in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Kazimierz Dylla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Dylla hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mehmet Hakkı Suhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Gilbert Podolski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilbert Podolski made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Deivid De Souza sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AKÇEŞMESPOR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
