Frente Revolucionario F.C's Ingolf Ortmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stein Van Eyke in the 13th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Van Eyke in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Kazimierz Dylla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ingolf Ortmark was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
