The crowd rose to their feet as Niek Wander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olavi Liib. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artur Rakiewicz in the 16th minute. Olavi Liib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Bielatowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Niek Wander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olavi Liib came out and tried to block the shot, but Niek Wander slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 22nd minute. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Melo in the 28th minute of play. Niek Wander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Olavi Liib when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 34 played minutes MZKS Sharks Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Cempa. 39 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Melo came free, but Witalis Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Niek Wander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Melo in the 43rd minute of play forced MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Witalis Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZKS Sharks Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Živko Dabović was slow to take the kick. During this time Catalin Haldan's players had a chance to rest. 45 minutes into the game, Niek Wander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 57th minute, Radomil Bielatowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MZKS Sharks Gdynia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Niek Wander hit a great ball. Witalis Chmielecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Živko Dabović in the 64th minute. Olavi Liib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niek Wander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomil Bielatowicz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A collision led to Catalin Haldan getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marin Petre hit a great ball. Frédson Melo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Catalin Haldan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! In the 86th minute, Radomil Bielatowicz made a precise shot to the right of Olavi Liib. Catalin Haldan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Živko Dabović in the 92nd minute of play. Robert Olchawa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of MZKS Sharks Gdynia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Catalin Haldan:s goal. MZKS Sharks Gdynia:s Witalis Chmielecki showed great skill when he stopped Frédson Melo:s penalty. 96 minutes into the match, Artur Rakiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavi Liib. Catalin Haldan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Rakiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Olavi Liib didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomil Bielatowicz went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that MZKS Sharks Gdynia were the better team. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
