Jorge Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witalis Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Hadi Vefakar. If Niek Wander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Dündar Ülkenur scored to the left of an out of position Witalis Chmielecki, making the score, 1-0. When Jorge Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Los Tatangelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Vacib Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Bielatowicz in the 23rd minute of play. Vacib Bartu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niek Wander's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Witalis Chmielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Jorge Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tatangelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomil Bielatowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vacib Bartu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dündar Ülkenur was the one to do the kick off. Witalis Chmielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dündar Ülkenur, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Bielatowicz in the 54th minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vacib Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dündar Ülkenur in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witalis Chmielecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Tatangelos's Vacib Bartu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Los Tatangelos from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute of the match MZKS Sharks Gdynia got a corner. Los Tatangelos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artur Rakiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vacib Bartu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Bielatowicz in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Radomil Bielatowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Bielatowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vacib Bartu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
