With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Kleen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casper Kleen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Faro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Alebäck in the 10th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Cordera came free, but Casper Kleen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Berglund. After having played for 15 minutes, Gervasio Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Henry Alebäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Gudesteo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Prospero Francesco made a precise shot to the right of Casper Kleen. Mean Machine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With his leg Candido Gudesteo managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Mean Machine's Henry Alebäck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Pascual Policarpio got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Torsten Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Torsten Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32ndth minute of the game Prospero Francesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mean Machine's Casper Kleen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Henry Alebäck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match, Henry Alebäck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Candido Gudesteo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mattias Willig's late challenge caught a Yaji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Willig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Mattias Willig got a free kick in the 46th minute. Nunez Danel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Alebäck was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Torsten Berglund notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo. Candido Gudesteo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Candido Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Stig-Arne Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mean Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mean Machine's Gösta Kämpe was substituted for Rune Åhman. 65 minutes into the match, Rune Anselius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Gudesteo. Yaji FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Anselius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Robin Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Alebäck in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute Henry Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Melchor Estefan hit a great ball. Mattias Willig, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Evelio Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Henry Alebäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nunez Danel hit a great ball. Candido Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Mean Machine players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
