BVB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriu Blaj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Sandu Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Gustavo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Bâru in the 26th minute of play. Dragoş Ivasiuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Barreto having to interfere. Dragoş Ivasiuc kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Augustin Arbore was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Augustin Arbore hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Prado in the 41st minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BVB 09 defense, Luís Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Mirciulescu. The BVB 09 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Mirciulescu should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Valladares was the one to do the kick off. When EC Fragata's Sydney Quirino in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BVB 09's goalie prevented a goal. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Valladares in the 54th minute of play. Filip Mirciulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Lara in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Prado during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to EC Fragata getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dé Prado hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Dé Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Prado in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Prado in the 76th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Iacob Martinescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BVB 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Fragata the free kick. Iacob Martinescu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Filip Mirciulescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcus Valladares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Prado in the 83rd minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Dudu Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Dé Prado notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu. Filip Mirciulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Filip Mirciulescu made a huge save. The BVB 09 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching EC Fragata's performance. The match ended with a win for EC Fragata.
