Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Natalio Polentzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dalmo Freire came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yaji FC's Prospero Francesco. But to his dismay, Prospero Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Gogo Maura got a free kick in the 11th minute. Luís Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Candido Gudesteo made a huge save. Dalmo Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Polentzi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Yaji FC got a corner. EC Fragata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natalio Polentzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Jonas Lalla to score against Dalmo Freire in EC Fragata's goal. 0-2 after 19 minutes. Nestor Teles hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. EC Fragata's Dalmo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Francesco in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of EC Fragata booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Johans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Lara. 35 minutes into the game, Natalio Polentzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dalmo Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Prospero Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Polentzi in the 41st minute of play. Dalmo Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percy Freire hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes EC Fragata got a freekick which was hit by Percy Freire. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Lara made a kick off. Candido Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Johans. After 54 played minutes, EC Fragata's Sydney Quirino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EC Fragata reached it. A collision led to EC Fragata getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alan Carioca hit a great ball. After some careless play in the EC Fragata defense, Natalio Polentzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Freire. The EC Fragata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Freire should have stopped the shot. The supporters of EC Fragata booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 87 in the game by Natalio Polentzi from a close distance when the talented Dalmo Freire managed to make a qualified save. EC Fragata's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Polentzi got free with Dalmo Freire in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yaji FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
