Eurico Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Alebäck's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes, Henry Alebäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the GLADIADORES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henry Alebäck hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Casper Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Veiga in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, GLADIADORES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Eurico Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Torsten Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Veigas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Casper Kleen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Enio Moraes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Casper Kleen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Sergipano in the 29th minute of the match. Eurico Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Wallin came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Arantes came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Mean Machine's Henry Alebäck. But to his dismay, Henry Alebäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 43rd minute Henry Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Alebäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in GLADIADORES's zone, Henry Alebäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Arantes came out of the goal and Henry Alebäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Dias came free, but Casper Kleen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Wallin. Mean Machine's Gösta Kämpe was substituted for Rune Åhman. Mean Machine's Robin Hultstrand was substituted for Stig-Arne Wallin. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mean Machine fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Enio Moraes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Guga Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, one of GLADIADORES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Mean Machine's Mattias Willig got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eurico Arantes. Eurico Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Hultstrand in the 91st minute of play. GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save GLADIADORES from getting a goal against them. Henry Alebäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The GLADIADORES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mean Machine's performance. The match ended with a win for Mean Machine.
